We are down to the final days until Christmas. With under two weeks until that holly jolly man in red shows up at your chimney, that still leaves us 10 merry days of time for holiday fun.
Nothing says Christmas like a Christmas tree, and we are rounding up our top three favorites around the windy city for your viewing pleasure. We would not be BeerTrippr without showing you the closest places to grab a brew after, now would we? So, we have you covered from tree to tap. Happy tree gazing!š²š»
1. Millennium Park

201 E Randolph Street
Chicago, IL 60602
Open Daily 8am-9pm
Forget "The Bean". During the holidays, the must-see attraction in Millennium Park is Chicago's Official Christmas Tree, a 51 foot Blue Spruce, sparkling the way Christmas trees are supposed to sparkle. While you're in area, give your best twirl iceskating at McCormick Tribune Ice Rink, or if you prefer skating rinks of the non-rectangular variety, trod on over to the Maggie Daley Park Skating Ribbon where you can twist and turn with nary a square corner in sight. Disclaimer - "The Bean" looks pretty damn good from the ice, so maybe don't forget it after all.

Adams Street Brewery
17 W Adams Street

Open Tues-Sat from 11am-8:30pm
2. Macys / The Walnut Room

Located in the Marshall Field and Co. Building
111 N. State Street
Chicago IL
Open 7 days/wk. Times vary
Sure, you can find your favorite pair of jeans at Macy's on State Street, but that's kind of beside the point. Whether it be the extravagant chandeliers, the indoor fountains, the Tiffany ceiling, or the wood-heavy interior of the Walnut Room, this is shopping turned up to eleven. For the holiday season, they turn up the decor to a solid fifteen. I mean..this place is in the National Registry of Historical Places, so the expectations are pretty high.
Among the plethora of holiday decorations, stands a 45 foot tall Christmas tree smack dab in the middle of the Walnut Room. So make your reservations and enjoy a holiday classic like Mrs. Hering's 1890 Original Pot Pie, braised short ribs, or roasted Norwegian salmon ...all with a giant side of Christmas.

3. The Wrigley Building

400-401 Michigan Ave
Chicago IL
Built in the early 1920's, the Wrigley Building was once the tallest building in Chicago. Its Spanish Colonial Revival style along with its iconic clock tower make The Wrigley Building a must-see for any architecture fan. Though The Wrigley Company global headquarters has literally left the building, its legacy stands tall as one of Chicago's greatest landmarks. The 30 foot Christmas tree with its red ribbon topper stands in the plaza just outside this piece of Chicago history.
