Beer. Need I say more?

Of course we need a day to celebrate this beloved beverage. Cookouts, birthdays, baseball games, weddings, festivals, meals with friends and even just after a long days work, there is the drink we pour to the rim as we kick back and enjoy ourselves. Celebrating beer only seems right because every time we celebrate, beer is there.
Did you know that beer is the third most consumed beverage next to water and tea. There are so many ways to enjoy beer now. More than ever before, we have selection. You have your dark ales and pale ales, the smooth and the biter, fermented and not. With breweries all over the country constantly coming up with new blends and flavors, there is surely a taste for anyone who wants to enjoy a beer.

HISTORY OF NATIONAL BEER DAY
National Beer Day celebrates the day in 1933 that the Cullen-Harrison act was signed into law, reversing the prohibition on selling beer in the United States. In 2009, a Virginian man named Justin Smith decided to commemorate this historic day, and created his own unofficial National Beer Day.

April 7 is a day celebrated nationally by beer lovers as a big anniversary near the end of Prohibition in 1933 when legal beer sales returned in the United States for the first time in 13 years. Prohibition was one of the great constitutional experiments of the 20th century. April 6, the day prior to National Beer Day, is known as New Beer's Eve.
